This week I worked on starting and completing the animation for one of the key camera shots in my film. I found it took me less time than anticipated because I already had the concept art for reference and the animatic, therefore I could to spend more time perfecting the colours and movements of the fish. I originally planned to take this shot into after-effects to add depth of field however I don't feel it is necessary at this moment in time because I have achieved the dept I desired in Photoshop alone and any added camera movements might make the shot less striking.
Now that this is complete I am going to focus on completing the next important shot which is the canyon shot, where the protagonist first arrives in his new imagined world. This shot is primarily created using Maya therefore it may take longer. Because of this I am giving myself all of next week to complete it.
